2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. – Matt 18: 2-5
The goal of our Children’s Ministry is to partner with families to introduce children to and familiarize them with the stories of Scripture and the basics of the Christian faith. We seek to provide children a safe space to grow in faith and knowledge; to ask questions and explore their faith, but most importantly to feel welcomed and loved. Our hope for our children and yours is that they will learn who God is, how much God loves them and the world, and that they will develop a faith that will last a lifetime.
Weekly Offerings for Children
Sunday School
Children’s Sunday school classes meet on the first floor of our building on Sunday mornings in class rooms found on the cemetery side. Classes are divided by age and grade (infants, toddlers, Kindergarten and 1st Grade, 2nd-4th grade) and taught by a combination of parents and adult volunteers with a passion for seeing children learn the basics of faith. For more information on where your child fits in contact us or stop by the Sunday School office (also located on the first floor near the cemetery entrance) for more information.
